Our Queen is bowing before the King

The world mourns the passing of our wonderful Queen Elizabeth II.

No one could fail to see the grace and humility she displayed as she served our nation. She was a follower of Jesus. Not just a Christian by name but one who bowed her knee to the King of Kings. She not only confessed Jesus as her inspiration, comfort and saviour but she lived her life, as best she could, to display the life that Jesus lived.

We have been blessed for decades by the leadership qualities so rarely seen in public life. We have been blessed to have a Queen like no other.

We mourn our loss but we do not feel sad for her. We know where she is now. She is enjoying the presence and glory of her Lord and saviour. She is enjoying the reward of a good and faithful servant. After many years of service she has now entered her rest.
