Warm Space

Save money heating your home and join us in ours

With the cost of living rising, we undertand not everyone has a warm place to go or feels able to cook themselves a hot meal. The Oak Community has an open door for you. We have our heating on, hot drinks at the ready, a hot meal for you to have and board games to play if you wish.

We are open every Tuesday evening from 5pm - 8pm. We started in December and currently plan on continuing through to March.

There is no need to book. Just turn up during this time and receive a warm welcome in a warm space.

Warm Room

We put our heating on so you don't need to. It's not just a warm room but you will receive a warm welcome also from our team.

Free WiFi

We have WiFi throughout the building that you can use. So if you want check your social media, get some work done or just google something on your smartphone feel free.

Warm Drinks

Our kettle is on and we will be ready to provide tea and coffee throughout the night. No charge. Milk and Sugar available also.

Charging Points

There are power sockets around the building so you can charge up a device if you need to. Bring your own mains to USB convertor.

Warm Food

Each week we will provide a simple hot meal so you don't need to. We can't cater for every dietary need so feel free to bring a microwave meal if you prefer.

Activities

We have some board games and puzzles if that's what you enjoy. Maybe make a new friend as you try Jenga, Uno or another one of our games. You can bring a favourite of your own.
